  Fantastic workmanship

  I have had a problem with our hall floor for months after It got to the point where we had to get someone in but tried two floor specialists who either did not return my calls or neither confirmed when they could come round. I was recommended to try a carpenter and after reading reviews on this site I contacted CJH. Chris returned my call came round next day and gave me a very competitive quote and then 3 days later he came round today and fixed our floor. His work is first class and he left out house spotless. I would hot hesitate to recommended CJH

  Great service - highly recommend!

  We found Chris though checkatrade and he was brilliant. He adapted our living space to create a third bedroom. We chose Chris because he was friendly and knowledgeable, he took time to understand our requirements, and he made good suggestions to make our plans work. When the work was going on, he was really communicative and approachable and not fazed by any issues that cropped up. He was very considerate of our schedules and the potential impact on our neighbours. All the sub-contractors he used were also great and the work was completed bang on time. Thanks Chris!

  Exceptional Tradesmen

  I'm 77 years old & retired 2 years ago after spending 58 years working in the building trade . When I was getting quotes for our loft conversion Chris from CJH came to price the works , I was immediately impressed with the questions he asked & the replies he gave to my questions. Their quote was very competitive. During the works being carried out Chris & Gary always went above & beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The quality of the work is very very good. All of the sub-trades without exception were again excellent. The tradesmen showing pride in their work .

  Single-storey rear extension

  Chris and his team built a single-storey rear extension to our house incorporating a new kitchen diner and downstairs toilet. Their work was excellent from start to finish and ran to schedule. They were polite, paid attention to detail, tidied the site each day and couldn't have done more to help us – any queries we had were dealt with swiftly and in a very professional manner. I would recommend Chris and his team to anyone and we wouldn't hesitate to use them for any future projects.

  Chris and his team have completed an amazing rear extension and decking for us. Very reliable, great communication , tidy and professional in their work. They helped us throughout with any problems / issues that occurred and were able to rectify them for us . Would highly recommend them.
