  Avoid this company – Unreliable quotes and aggressive hidden charges

  I strongly advise against CJ Electrical. They lure you in with low quotes, then aggressively add massive hidden costs. I was quoted £280 to connect my solar system. On arrival, they claimed the job was too complex, adding forcing tasks like cable tidying, pushing the bill to £1,860. Later, they withheld my EIC certificate due to an external network issue. Once fixed, they demanded an extra £180 just to re-test. The engineer stayed for exactly 9 minutes, only checking earth impedance. A £280 job cost over £2,000. Terrible value, lack of transparency, and zero honesty.

  Highly recommend!

  I had an issue with my hot water and, despite it being such short notice, Chae was able to come out and have a look at the problem for me. He was incredibly friendly, professional and helpful from start to finish. He quickly identified the issue and was able to fix it for me. He also took the time to explain what the problem was and what he had done to resolve it, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

  Garden Electrics

  CJ Electrical installed multiple lights & sockets in our garden which we have just had profesionally revamped. Once the final 'switch on' of the lights happened, it made our new garden even more amazing! We could not be happier with Chae, Mike & Dan who always kept us informed & were extremely professional, as well as Tiffany in the office who was great. Recommend recommend recommend!

  Socket removal and replacement

  I needed a dodgy socket removing and the external wire powering it removed. Another socket was made into a double and the remaining external cable has now been safely put in the wall ready for plastering. The team did an excellent job and tidied up after embedding the cable in the wall. Very pleased with the work and for a decent price. Also booked me in quickly which was excellent.

  Really good experience dealing with CJ Electrical. Chae and his team were really helpful and accommodating, from the initial site visit to the installation itself. Communication was good throughout. I will definitely use them in the future and be giving their details out to anyone who asks if i know a good sparky.
