Charles estimated that my job would take 2-3 weeks in total. However, after 3 weeks, the work was only 50% complete. Charles then moved onto someone else’s job, so we agreed a date (a few weeks later) when he would return. However, the day before Charles was due back, he informed me that he would not be returning.
