To fix a leaking Velux window on a pitched roof

    Posted 26 November 2022

The work was completed on the same day. However, the window is still leaking, albeit that this was not discovered until about two months ago due to the long summer drought experienced this year. We then contacted the business by phone on several occasions, only to be told to direct any enquiries via email. Despite several messages sent, no response was ever received. We therefore visited their premises in Catford, only to be told there was no-one there!

    Repair to a flat roof

    Posted 21 November 2022

I recommend you do not use Chris Ball Roofing under any circumstances. We paid an above market price for a roof repair that was not completed to a market standard and caused significant damage to our home. We are now having to take Chris Ball Roofing to court to recover costs and damages as they are refusing to refund us. At first customer service was excellent, until there was a problem and then it became very poor. Shop around, there are much better firms that will complete the works better and for a better price. This whole episode has been very stressful, thanks to Chris Ball Roofing.

Repair to leak in loft conversion and replacing lead apron to loft window cill.

    Posted 26 October 2022

Chris Ball Roofing recently carried out repairs on our roof. After heavy rainfall on 23 October we noticed that the roof is still leaking. The work only took two half days but because the date for the work was delayed 12 times we had the scaffolding up for 8 weeks. The main reason for the work was the leak in the roof so needs to be resolved quickly but have been unable to contact them. The message on their answering machine says that due to shortage of staff they are only dealing with emails but they do not respond to calls or emails.
