  Low boundary wall to front garden

  I could not be more pleased with my beautiful garden wall that Ben and his team constructed for me. They are a great bunch and did a thorough professional job with no fuss. Great communication throughout too, so can 100% recommend Chestnut Construction, plus I have had loads of admiring comments from neighbours and passers by.

  Large double extension

  Ben and his team completed a large double extension on our house between Oct ‘24 and Feb ‘25. Costs were clear and timings to schedule. Would highly recommend.

  Single story rear extension

  Ben and his team recently completed a single story rear extension for us, the full width of the house. We went with Ben as he completed a much larger extension on our neighbours to a very high standard. We were not disappointed as all work was fantastic. Everyone complimented the building work and the decorators complimented the plasterers. Ben’s team and contractors were all friendly and kept the site clean each evening. Building control have high regards for Ben’s work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ben and his team, excellent all round.

  Loft conversion

  Our 2nd project by Ben as we were very pleased with his team’s previous work. Both times our experience matched other reviews. The entire team took pride in their work and their attention to detail was appreciated. They were very approachable, polite and friendly and kept the site tidy. All completed on time. We’re very pleased with the results, receiving positive comments on the improvements. If you’re planning a building project Ben’s team are a pleasure to work with. They know what they’re doing and, should any issues arise, Ben will respond promptly.

  Conversation of garage into new front room and laundry room and updating of internal entrance hall.

  I can't fault Ben and his team. He's so knowledgeable, unflappable, helpful and reliable. His team are lovely, know their stuff and all respected our home. The project finished on budget and we are 100% delighted with the results. The finish, including brilliant carpentry and plastering, is spot on. We had a few bumps along the way, as you would expect, and Ben dealt with them without any fuss or disturbance to us at work. We wouldn't hesitate to use Chestnut construction again and wholeheartedly recommend them.
