    Additional commissions following successful main project. Upgrade doors to fire rated to create a protected corridor for Building Control compliance. Installed high quality closeboard boundary fencing with gravel boards and capping rails. Installed aluminium lawn edging and gravel soakaway. Fitted internal bi-fold door. All materials and workmanship to a high standard. Competitively priced clearly with trade material prices and competitive labour rates. Highly recommended.

    26m2 Single Storey Flat Roof Rear Extension

    Awarded the work on price and quality following competitive quoting. Turnkey delivery of all trades. Standard filled cavity and warm roof construction with structural steel and rooflights. Delivered to programme. Well known to Building Control, who positively commented on the choice of builder and repeatedly reported high quality workmanship. Long serving staff and repeat trades working together. No surprise additional costs and all variations known from the outset accurately and reasonably priced. Tight coordination and excellent courtesy upheld throughout. Highly recommended.

    Superb job from Chestnut construction Kent!

    Ben and his team recently completed a large kitchen extension for us. He completed it on time, on budget & made it as stress free as a build could be. His team were extremely polite, punctual & left the house/drive/garden neat and tidy every evening. We would not hesitate to recommend him & look forward to him coming back for phase two of our renovation!

    New Extension & Driveway

    Ben and his team have been excellent throughout, building us a large extension and new driveway. It was delivered on time and to budget, they were efficient and always made sure the site was tidy at the end of each day. We're delighted with the end result. They exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

    Low boundary wall to front garden

    I could not be more pleased with my beautiful garden wall that Ben and his team constructed for me. They are a great bunch and did a thorough professional job with no fuss. Great communication throughout too, so can 100% recommend Chestnut Construction, plus I have had loads of admiring comments from neighbours and passers by.

    Large double extension

Chestnut Construction Kent Ltd is a local building company based in Tonbridge. The company was set up by myself Ben Underhill after working many years for large building contractors, and now wishing to bring that expertise to clients and provide quality and great workmanship. Almost all of the work is through recommendations. Ben himself has over 15 years’ experience and is a bricklayer and ground worker, and has a team of professional tradesman to complete associated works, with also a quantity surveyor to hand for any large projects. All of the tradesman have the relevant certificate s that are needed to perform the tasks in hand.
