  Rebuilt 200 year old wall and new sandstone path and patio

  Carl has done 3 jobs for me over the last couple of years. The 1st was the rebuild of a 200+ year old brick and random sandstone wall (60m long x 4m high). The 2nd was a new sandstone patio, and the 3rd, completed in December 2025, was a new path and sandstone patio (65 sq m) at the front of the house. They are trustworthy, really care about what they do and go the extra mile to make sure everything is done correctly and to very high quality. The standard of finish is exceptional. Good builders are hard to find but these guys are fantastic and I would highly recommend them for any job.

  Kitchen enlargement project

  We were looking to knick through the existing kitchen wall and open it up to the back dinning area. I contact Carl through this site and that was a winning combination right there. Carl and his son advised on the requirements and arranged for the structural engineer assessment. Which to alot of work of my plate. The works were started following the engineers assessment and building regulations agreement. In all a top quality job was done from start to finish. 100 percent spot on with every aspect of the job. We will continue to use Carl and his Son for further works definitely recommended.

  Extension

  The father and son team paid attention to every detail during the build. They worked hard and nothing was too much trouble. I am disabled and Carl sourced disability equipment to make my life easier. They are very funny and cheered me up every time they were working. They did an excellent job, my extension will be still standing when my house is long gone.

  Bricking up garage and fitting a window

  Carl quoted me quickly and confidently, the final bill was exactly what was quoted despite the job growing a bit during the initial stages. Carl and George were on time and worked through bad weather, delaying the bricklaying until it was dryer and putting up a temporary stud wall to help keep the room clean. They answered all my many curious questions about the process at every step of the way, explaining this and that and the particular challenges that were cropping up. They even gave me advice for the next stages of the job.

  Downstairs open plan

  We recently had a downstairs knock-through to create an open-plan space, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! Carl and George were friendly, helpful, and quick from start to finish. They went above and beyond, even assisting with other house-related issues and offering invaluable advice whenever we needed it.
