  Bathroom and Kitchen refurbishment

  Some aspects of the work by Chelsea Contractors were done well, such as removal, organisation, and tidiness. However, the overall quality — especially finishing — was disappointing. The kitchen worktop was damaged, plans weren’t followed, and cracks have since appeared. Poor dust management caused appliance issues. I’m not a trade expert, so lessons were learned. I’ll now need to hire another professional to fix several problems. Proceed with caution and supervision.

  Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We disagree that we have caused any damage to your worktop, and it was fitted as per the supplied plans you provided. You agreed with Howdens that the worktop is to be extended by 23cm, however this is not shown on the plan, and the instruction was not passed to us neither from Howdens and nor from you. The crack you show is in your existing build and has noting to us with us, although cracks are common in this field and can be easily repaired. Cleaning was carried out efficiently and dust is inevitable when carrying out demolition work. The project and all the tasks we were hired to do were completed in a professional and timely manner. When we challenged you about the concerns you raised, you stopped responding and failed to pay the last agreed balance of £923.10.”

  I was surprised at how easy my experience was especially after hearing all the builder stories. The communication, quality and attention to detail were all great. The guys were friendly and answered all my questions. I would 100% recommend. Thank you so much for making my build a great experience.

  visited to quote, then went quiet and when I chased up said he had taken on other work and wasn't available for 4 months. polite enough but it was frustrating

  I am very grateful and appreciative with the quality and speed at which Chelsea Contractors (Nasser and co.) were able to, from start to finish, completely transform our family home in Surrey, on time and under budget!
