Charlie recently rehung our 1920s heavy pine doors..after they were stripped …a challenging job as nothing is straight in our house! He customised another door to accommodate a smaller bathroom entrance which is brilliant! As ever, he works like a magician.. is quick and precise! My name is Charlie Evershed and I have worked in the building trade for over 25 years and have run my own carpentry and loft conversion business for the last 20.
I qualified as City and Guilds carpenter from Oakland’s college after working as an engineer and draftsman when I left school
I am skilled in all aspects from roof construction and structural work through to fine finish detail work and anything in between.
I pitch roofs, fit Velux windows, construct decking, hang doors, fit kitchens, lay floors, fit stairs, build stud work partitions, build cupboards and storage units etc etc.
