  Loft conversion, structural carpentry, roofing

  Charlie completed our bungalow loft conversion including all structural carpentry, new floor joists, ashlar walls, velux windows and 2 gable dormers including all the roof hips and valleys and tiling and leadwork to the outside of the dormers. This is the second home renovation Charlie has completed for us and I highly recommend Charlie for his skill and experience in all aspects of carpentry and building work. Charlie is able to complete complicated projects from start to finish and is hard working and reliable. Turns up every day on time and puts in a lot of effort to get the job done.

  Remedial works to loft structure and loft hatch

  We had to draft in Charlie to carry out some remedial work to finish off some structural works in the loft of a tenanted property and reinstall the loft hatch following poor workmanship of the previous contractor. As part of this, Charlie liaised with Building Control to ensure that the works would be signed off. We are very happy with the service provided and the tenant is happy now that the loft hatch has been finished to a better standard.
