Overall, we were thrilled with CBS, they're friendly, always flexible with changes and quick to jump in when issues arose. They honoured the original competitive quote, even though the project dragged on a lot longer than estimated (which we half-expected amid parts shortages). That said, the plumber they brought in left a bit to be desired; he only mentioned that the taps were high-pressure models after the tiling was done, making it too late to swap without major hassle. Now, our upstairs water trickles out frustratingly slowly. Regardless, we would happily go with CBS for the next project.

True to their word, they stuck to the original quote—no hidden costs, no surprises, just clear and honest communication throughout the entire process. Each day, the site was left clean, tidy and secure, their flexibility, willingness to accommodate a few changes along the way was refreshing. Any minor issues that came up were handled quickly and processionally.

I selected a few names to come quote for a new garage and Ian was quick to respond over email. After a short back and forth sharing rough plans he promised to visit to discuss further but he never showed up and didn't contact me to explain why.

Ian and his team were excellent from start to finish, and with the amount of work we had done (also having a rear patio and front driveway laid by his groundworks contact Charlie) they became like family members during the work months. Very clean and tidy, did what they said when they said they would do it, at the costs quoted, and happy to work around me for the DIY bits I wanted to do. In all we used building, carpentry, plastering, plumbing, roofing, and groundworks through them, with my sparky friend doing the electrical work alongside me. Highly recommended.
