I selected a few names to come quote for a new garage and Ian was quick to respond over email. After a short back and forth sharing rough plans he promised to visit to discuss further but he never showed up and didn't contact me to explain why.

Ian and his team were excellent from start to finish, and with the amount of work we had done (also having a rear patio and front driveway laid by his groundworks contact Charlie) they became like family members during the work months. Very clean and tidy, did what they said when they said they would do it, at the costs quoted, and happy to work around me for the DIY bits I wanted to do. In all we used building, carpentry, plastering, plumbing, roofing, and groundworks through them, with my sparky friend doing the electrical work alongside me. Highly recommended.

Work was undertaken in a professional manner and with minimum disruption or inconvenience to the family. They were as tidy as building work can be and their team were all polite and courteous and as flexible as possible to fit around family life.

We selected Chappell Building Services because they clearly understood the whole job from day one. A tricky multi-room conversion to be carried out whilst we continued to live in the house. Ian and the team dealt with many unforeseen challenges and liaised well with other third party trades: kitchen manufacture, window fitters and flooring. Project was delivered on time and on budget and we were kept amused and informed throughout. If you are still laughing with your builder after 3 months then that's special.
