For sometime I have not known where the leak in the porch came from. I contacted Chalcraft building services and Grahame came over at a time that was convenient to me. He identified the problem and got it sorted quickly. No leak! They were very clean and tidy, went over above. I didn’t have to be there which was great from me.

Would definitely go to this builder for any future work. Work carried out on the agreed date. Explanations given. Feel reassured by the work carried out.

I was referred to Chalcroft Building Services by a friend and cannot be more grateful. I needed two skylights replacing in my kitchen extension which resulted in being a mission and a half for the Team due to poor 1980s workmanship completed before I bought the cottage. The problem was resolved, the issues were explained to me in detail and the job completed to a very high standard. I would not hesitate recommending Chalcroft Services to anyone. The Team are very professional, knowledgeable and courteous and the next task is already booked in.

I am in the process of buying a house. I put out a request for someone to check the roof of the property after I had a survey carried out.. Grahame Chalcraft responded and spent some time on the phone with me talking through some of the issues raised as he is also a surveyor. He inspected the property and reassured me that it is in better condition than the survey indicated. He made recommendations as to the work that will maintain the house. He definitely put my mind at rest

Followed up our referral very quickly. Got to the heart of the problem very quickly following thorough knowledgeable examination of building. Feel confident that the work to be done will be carried out as proficiently. Both gentlemen very pleasant and explained the problems and solutions clearly.

Chalcraft carried out work to remove old wooden garage doors, brick up the gap and fit a new window. They also replaced a felt roof with an EPDM rubber roof. Seemed straightforward but Grahame found the electrics ran into some old bakelite junction boxes, so not safe. He quoted and arranged the electricians and the delay was minimal. He kept us informed and we discussed things all the way through the job and we are very pleased with the end result. Everyone worked very hard, not easy in the hot weather. I'm sure we will use again.
