Conversion from commercial to residential of grade II* Listed building.

This was a significant and very sensitive project in heart of Lewes town centre. As a grade II* listed building it came with all the challenges of providing modern living standards in a conservation sensitive building. Chris worked patiently with all parties involved and has managed to deliver a stunning conversion of this badly neglected building. Completing all of the works with a trading restaurant below was not without significant hurdles along the way. Thanks for a great job and it was all worth it in the end.

Loft conversion and full back of the house extension, kitchen fit and patio.

Chris and his team have done an excellent job on our loft conversion and ground floor extension. Chris took care of everything, including the kitchen fitting, decorating, patio and finer details, including fitting a bespoke front door. He was more than happy to make adjustments to the design if we requested it and took care at each stage to check we were happy with different options. Chris provided a competitive quote with a detailed breakdown of the costs and kept to the quote throughout. Chris and his team are really pleasant to deal with and we have no hesitation in recommending him.

New garden office built

Chris and his team were great. They recently built our garden office and had to dismantle the existing structure, remove all waste and build a new structure from scratch, including foundations. The office has been clad and glazed, the internal walls been covered as per our requirements and the ceiling plastered. The 'Living roof' is doing really well and they were accommodating when it came to wiring it up. They were fast, tidy and helpful. We are more than happy with their work and will definitely recommend them to friends

Extension.

Chris took on a partly built extension, something builders usually run a mile from! He stuck with it through some very testing times (outside of his control) and has got it through to completion. Quoting was itemised and very clear and he stuck with it throughout. Lots of good input to the project and thinking of things which hadn't occurred to me. He dealt very well with building control and kept me up to date along the way. My only negative would be keeping the site tidy, however it was a (uninhabited) building site and I'm a bit OCD on that score :-) Overall would recommend.

Moving kitchen services into a different room, prior to kitchen fitting.

Our ideas for creating an open plan kitchen and lounge space had to be changed several times, however, Chris was really patient during this lengthy process and also offered valuable ideas to our development project. He arranged for all specialists to complete their tasks, illeviating the job of sourcing electricians etc.
