Hello, I'm Matt, head carpenter and director at Century Oak. We create exceptional timber-frame buildings, from concept to completion.
Century Oak emerged from a passion for beautiful timber framed buildings and a vision to create design conscious, enduring structures that will be cherished for generations to come.
Established in 2017 by director Matt Sears, the company draws on his extensive experience gained while working with various building firms across Suffolk. Through these years, Matt honed his expertise as both a skilled carpenter and accomplished project manager. Today, he personally oversees his talented team and manages each project from conception to completion. Though his leadership role keeps him busy, Matt remains a carpenter at heart with a keen interest in Oak framing and eagerly seizes any chance to work hands-on with the tools of his trade.
