  Painting a large room

  Unfortunately, I cannot recommend based on my experience. There were multiple no-show days and when Chris did attend, the working days were often very short, causing delays. The job has been left unfinished; I was told he would return around four weeks ago but have had no contact since. I paid in full in good faith, expecting the agreed “showroom finish.” The result is only adequate and falls short of what was promised. Chris is pleasant, but reliability, communication and completion have been disappointing.

  I’m very sorry that you feel this way it was a bit of a bad time for me without going into personal stuff hence the short days but have contacted you to resolve the matter and as promised a couple weeks ago I’ll be back to sort what needed finishing due to you needing me to finish that day when there was still a half a days work left you was very happy with the finish when we spoke about the works so bit confused on that one

  Shed roof great job

  Chris visited over the weekend to repair my shed roof, which had rotted and was caving in. As always, he did an amazing job, just like he has with all my other work.

  I didn't actually meet the person who did the work because I no longer live anwhere near the property and only know about it from photos but from what I see all looks good and was a pleasant guy to deal with. The work was to strip old wallpaper and paint the walls.

  Communication bad and two no-shows. However when Chris did arrive his manner was pleasant, he worked efficiently, quality was excellent and he did a good job! I would use him again but be prepared for false starts.

  Had a lot going on with illnesses with the family with the nasty bug that was going around but I was communicating letting nick know this with the revised date still not feeling 100% so had to re arrange one last time as I don’t want to be spreading the virus I had
