    Friendly, flexible and easy communication. Created bespoke wardrobes and under stairs storage. Listened to exactly what we wanted and adapted to suit the space very well. Professional result.

    Jack and Dan made three radiator covers for us for our hall, landing and kitchen

    Jack contacted us really quickly once we sent out a message via Checkatrade and came round to our house a few days later to give us a quote. We had to wait a few weeks for them to come and make the radiator covers but are very pleased with the job they have done. We would definitely recommend them for carpentry jobs.

    Front Door Canopy

    I Hired Dan to install a front door canopy on the 15 th of November 2024.From the quote to the clean up everything was excellent. I am now in the process of getting some layers of paint on to the canopy to finish it off, weather permitting. I would recommend and use this company again. We are a small local firm, we have over 38 yrs experience in all aspects of carpentry, we cover everything from bespoke made to measure wardrobes, kitchens, hand cut roofs, loft & garage conversions, floors, doors, replacing stairs & renovating stairs with glass balustrades, under stair storage solutions plus many more aspects of carpentry. we also do Internal alterations as in removing walls,fitting RSJ steels and many more aspects of general building work. we have a small group of plasterers,plumbers,brick layers,painters and electricians that we use on our projects so we know every job is finished to a high standard


We also offer internal alteration services, media walls, wall paneling, porches, decking composite and timber.


Both Jack and I (Dan) have both worked on construction sites, hospitals, schools, churches and other wide ranges of construction projects over the years on many different types of commercial and domestic buildings.


I (Dan) completed my apprenticeship with Jarvis Construction Ltd (Harpenden) back in 2003, jack completed his apprenticeship with David Nott & Son's (Luton) back in 2010.


We have worked with each other for 14 years now and started our company cawdex carpentry ltd in 2018.
