    Overcharging and job done poorly

    Awful experience, tried to half do the job and had to get Carlton back to finish it. Have just found out that the floor needs to be screeing again as it is not level, and that Carlton overcharged as the quote I received from this company is 1-200 pounds less then what Carlton charged. I would not recommend to anyone.

    Hi Domonic sorry to here of your dissatisfaction of the self levelling of your subfloor,but I don’t understand the job was done on the 24/07/2925 and you paid im full £600.00 to supply self levelling compound labour 8 months ago,Friday evening 6th February 2026 as I was leaving to go away for the weekend,you said another company said it wasn’t good enough and that I should have changed you between £400 to £500 and if I don’t give you your £600 pounds back you’ll do a bad review on Checkatrade,I said I get back to you on Monday to talk about it, but you just did a bad review anyway

    Whole house carpet removal and engineered wood flooring including stairs

    Carlton was very friendly, skilled and helpful. The flooring looks amazing and the few bumps we encountered through the process were able to be ironed out and rectified. We’re very pleased with the quality of his work and would recommend him.

    Carlton did a great job on our floor, he was quick and communicative, as well as flexible. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and why and giving us options. We were also indecisive at points and he was quite patient without decisions and backtracking. The quality of the work is very good.

    Laminate flooring fitted in flat lobby and living room/dining room

    Carlton arrived early both days (8am) and did a fantastic job. We supplied the laminate ourselves and he fitted it for us. He also removed the old carpet we had.

    Herringbone LVT installation

    Carlton did an excellent job at laying herringbone flooring in our new extension. We needed the work to be completed at quite short notice before our kitchen was installed and Carlton managed to rearrange his diary to fit us in. Would definitely use again.
