Cuts corners! Having read the positive reviews, we felt confident Iain would be able to undertake the work which included painting walls and woodwork (all in the same colour as before) and wallpapering a feature wall. The quote for five days work was reasonable but it was clear Iain was leaving early everyday, perhaps to go on to another job? The woodwork paint finish was poor and paint splashes and wallpaper adhesive were left on the floor and on a very expensive restored radiator. Because we were using the same paint as before, Iain cut corners and did not deliver. You get what you pay for!

Slightly disappointed with negative review however not surprised. Alarm bells were ringing from Day 1. Admittedly there were issues with some of the woodwork not helped by the DIY product supplied by the customer on this labour only job however I returned to rectify as soon as this was highlighted by the customer. In 8 years on Checkatrade I have never had a review like this but lessons will be learned. Apologised unreservedly for any inconvenience caused and the customer also received an additional 10% discount. In my opinion the job was left in a good, clean, tidy condition.
