  Car overheating

  DO NOT USE Came to diagnose the fault, took the car apart, left it like that as he was coming back to finish the job. Took the £80 call out charge and never came back! I’ve not been able to make contact since, not returned my many calls and messages. So I’m now left with a car that isn’t even drivable to allow me to get it to a garage and £80 worse off.

  A few jobs now

  Have used Chris a few times now, have always struggled finding honest and reliable mechanics. Its been a godsend finding Chris. Having 6 vehicles Ive used him on 3 seperate jobs and hes advised on another. We also have been booked in for another job next week. He has been extremely reliable and responsive as he understands that our company relys on our vehicles and has saved the day on a few of those ocasions. Thank you very much and I hope we can rely on you again in the future!

  Fit new thermostat

  Chris was initially helpful, diagnosing a thermostat issue when my car's engine overheated. He promised to fix it on Wednesday but arrived an hour late, without the necessary part, postponed the job to Friday. He charged £60 for the visit, then became unresponsive when asked for a detailed quote. His price was £415, significantly higher than the <£300 quoted by other mechanics. Despite multiple attempts, Chris failed to provide explanations or respond to messages. Then switched his phone off. I'm still without a working car and £60 down! Thanks Chris! AVOID this mechanic.

  Contacted the Mechanic who gave advice, I asked him to visit me to use his diagnostic equipment on the car which he agreed to and gave me a time. He did not arrive or contact me, I cancelled work to meet him, a total waste of my time.
