Really impressed with C.A. Cook from start to finish. Of the four quotes I got, this company was the only one that made the effort to actually come and look at the job (for the others I just had to send photos). On the day, Charlie and Mark were excellent. They worked really hard (not easy in the hot weather!) and did an excellent job of cutting back a really tall fir tree and removing a tree from the middle of our lawn (amazingly, managing to leave the lawn in tact as if a tree had never been there!!). Both were really professional and friendly, and left the garden in an extremely tidy state. Will definitely use again!

Charlie and his team did an excellent job with the tree pruning. The work was well arranged, they arrived on time, and everything was carried out efficiently and tidily. I was really pleased with the result and appreciated the helpful advice. I would happily recommend and use again.

They visited the site soon after my job post and gave a competitive quote. They were upfront about possible delays due to prior commitments and booked the job for a date that suited me, with a reminder sent a few days before. On the day, they arrived fully equipped, confirmed the details, and got straight to work. About 80% was done by day’s end, and the rest completed the next morning. Though the job turned out bigger than expected, they didn’t complain or ask for more—just mentioned it and carried on. The site was left clean and tidy. They reduced some very large horse chestnut trees and removed a very overgrown row of conifer and ground the stumps. They were very competitively priced. They were so quick to complete the work and the garden was left so tidy it was unbelievable that they had completed such a huge amount of work within the time promised. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.
