My house needed a number of significant works to be undertaken. (Repointing, replacement lead flashings and gutters with new roof rafters and felt.)
Will gave an expert opinion, a very reasonable quote and was fantastically flexible so that the works coincided with existing scaffolding in place to reduce my costs. Everything was carried out to a high standard, the team were polite and respectful, clearing up afterwards!
This is the second time I’ve used Butler and son and have highly recommended them to friends and neighbours.

Replace flat and front elevations roofs

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend William and his team. They did emergency repairs on a leak, and then a full replacement of a flat roof (ResTech) and front elevation (slates). The team are punctual, reliable, hardworking, knowledgeable, communicative, and best of all, great craftsmen. I am really pleased with the results and so happy I found them (thank you, Checkatrade!).

Roof replacement for part of roof

Will and his team have helped me twice now. The first time was an emergency leak and gutter repair after some storms and then most recently for chimney repairs and retiling of part of my roof. It has taken me ages to find local roofers who are honest, reliable and communication well to do the roof replacement work & I am so pleased I found them. They were great - hard-working, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. During the work they kept me informed about the progress throughout. It was a relief to have a trustworthy, skilled workers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

I had a leak on the roof just before Christmas.

I really appreciated will’s honesty, as we had various tradesmen come around and there were only 2 out of 7 people who gave honest opinion of doing a small fix. The others suggested a whole entire roof repair/new roof which was completely disproportionate to the actual issue. The men who came were reliable and got the job done. We haven’t had any issues since. Will use again!

Gutter cleaning, repair and replacement

I was immensely pleased with the work done by William, David and team. From first contacting the company to completion of the work, my inquiry and the job was dealt with professionally, with obvious expertise and friendly helpfulness. William provided excellent suggestions and the work was done efficiently, carefully and everything was beautifully tidied up at the end. Some of it involved some tricky points of access, but that was dealt with so well, too. Highly recommend and would use again.

Replacement of Defective Flat Roof

The team did a great and speedy job from initial quote, to install, to neat and tidy finish. They were highly professional, proactive about additional fixes, and left me feeling reassured that the new roof was done to exacting standards. Would highly recommend.
