Buildtonic carried out external repairs to our 200 year old grade 2 listed meeting house. It included repointing and replacing spalled brickwork, renovating slate roofs, and external decorations. All the work was carried out to a high standard with regard to the building's status and history, for example by using lime mortar. A large sash window had rotted and Buildtonic skilfully repaired it before repainting it all the window frames. Internal doors that were sticking were rehung and now work perfectly. The job was completed on schedule. We recommend Buildtonic and would employ them again.

We are halfway through a full refurbishment, including a basement dig down, new roof, electrics, plumbing, windows etc, Liam and his team have been brilliant in dealing with all the things that a 200 year old building throws at you as well as demanding clients continually adding to the job. Nothing has been a problem for them and all the issues that have arisen have been taken in their stride.

Knowledgeable about such a range of issues/materials and he can identify and resolve the problem himself. We have had him complete work on our house 2x now and completely trust his assessment and work. For example, the issues we thought we had (due to other companies' opinions and quotes) were correctly identified and resolved by Liam because he is so competent at a wide range of trades. He goes the extra mile in working out what is best, listening to what we wanted and communicating pricing and even fetching more materials and staying on to resolve further issues. Highly recommend

Liam was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, and went over and above to fit tiling in a downstairs toilet. It was a small and fiddly job, which he had to return to more than once to get everything just so. He is friendly, polite and thoroughly straightforward. I will definitely be using him again for some bigger projects coming up.
