We had a very positive experience with the Checkatrade website. I posted the issue, and had a very quick reply. I sent a photo of the leaking stopcock, and was provided with a quote and likely date of visit. Plumber was very communicative, arrived on time as arranged, friendly and helpful. We were very pleased. Would definitely use again.

Fast response to a Checkatrade call out for an emergency plumber when we found water dripping from the attic into the airing cupboard. Chris repaired the leak to the attic water pipe and identified the flux corrosion problem that caused the leak (shortly after we had a second leak arising and unfortunately the water tank and hot water cyclinder require urgent replacement from the same flux corrossion issue that Chris identified) Chris also resolved couple of other plumbing issues ( a leaking toilet cistern and a bent washing machine feed pipe) and provided good advice.

Chris was punctual & reliable after being let down by another plumber. Communication before job was reassuring. Job done quickly & professionally & he is returning to do other work for me.
