The electrician turned up for an emergency repair job. The electrician took longer to arrive than predicted. He identified & quickly fixed the fault. When the job was completed, the electrician failed to inform me of the fault & only told me the cost of the repair. He then asked for cash payment & offered to drive me to the bank to get the required cash. This put me in uncomfortable position. I am 88 & live alone. I was unhappy to be asked to make a cash payment & believe the offer me to drive to my bank was unacceptable. I wish to warn others in case they are put in a similar situation.
