Mark and team were very prompt with the quote and the work once agreed. The work was completed within 2 days and was of good quality. The aftercare was brilliant and the team cleaned up after themselves.

I’ve given Mark 9’s across the board here. If I gave him 10 ( which is what the quality of the service deserved) people might not believe me. This was an excellent, very efficient piece of work carried out a very reasonable price. I have no hesitation in recommending Mark Quin to anyone. And a very decent bloke, too.

There was damp in a bedroom at my parents 1920s/1930s property which was causing internal damage and they asked for my help in sourcing a contractor. I found Mark on checktrade and was comforted by the positive reviews; he visited promptly to assess the condition and provided a quote for remedial works which were a reasonable cost. He explained he would be using lime mortar because of the type/ age of building. The works were completed in a very timely way and my parents are very pleased with the end result. I would recommend Mark and his team.

Mark was able to complete the job within a good timeframe and he was very efficient. The walls look much stronger and better than before - thank you! Helpful to have found a pointer who can also do work with lime, which seems harder to come by.

Mark has done 2 jobs for us now: repointing an internal and external wall. He specialises in pure lime and sand mortar, which is great for older houses, and something many repointers shy away from. He has great communication and pride in his work. Would hire a 3rd time.
