  Sam and his team were fantastic. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Sam is very personable and professional builder. He made the whole experience a lot easier than it could have been.

  Sam Bowles and his team were a delight to have working in our home, polite and considerate and always going the extra mile. Their workmanship was excellent and their approach very pragmatic. We felt very comfortable with them in our home and in a strange way will miss them! One thing we particularly liked about Sam is his considered opinion on scope and solutions, he never just says 'yes we can do that' but instead takes time to consider but that means that when he does come back with a yes it is solid and reliable. Sam is also a man of his word. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

  Constructing an extension

  Our recommendation: save yourself a lot of time and just go book Sam and his team! We didn't know of any good builders before we were put in touch with Bowles Building. We are absolutely delighted that we chose to work with them. They take pride in their work and their integrity and excellence is evident at all times. They are all genuine, kind people, led by Sam with great team spirit, showing unfailing courtesy for those around them. We love the extension they created and the way they went about it. We simply couldn't fault them and now always heartily recommend them.

  Complete stripout and rebuild of garden workshop, complete first floor; kitchen, living room and WC

  Sam and his team have done two phases of work for us as part of an ongoing renovation, and we have been so pleased that we plan to have them complete a larger 3rd phase for us this year. As well as completing the work to a high standard, Sam is a pleasure to work with. We trust him not to do anything unplanned or unexpected, as throughout the work he kept us informed, and collaborated closely with us on decisions and problem solving.

  Glazed Extension 5x9m, landscaping, ground works, steelwork on 4 sides plus internal decor.

  Sam and his team (Bowles the younger) have recently completed a large architect designed extension for me over a period of 5 months. The project involved landscaping, ground works, 4 sided steelworks and integration into the current build plus 100m2 of porcelain patio. Sam is an energetic individual whose technical skill is without question. Projects like this are invariably fraught with unforeseen problems and Sam was always ready with alternative options with an eye to cost. The team were always cheerful and punctual. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bowles Builders.
