Basic cleaning fail.... Now demanding payment!

Team of two booked for a simple domestic job between 9am - 1pm. Only one arrived at 9. Job was confirmed, walked the man through the areas to be cleaned. He confirmed everything and the finish time. Promised "don't worry sir everything will be perfect". Arrived home at 12:50 and barely half the job was complete. 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Bedrooms had been semi hoovered, not under beds, and just around things on the floor. Still had dust and hair in places. Same with the bathrooms. Window sills dirty. Kitchen, conservatory untouched. Oven started. Asked the team to leave. Now they want paying

Please pay for the hours worked, as you scheduled an end-of-lease cleaning, not a regular cleaning, and your wife assaulted and insulted our employees, which we will report. You kicked them out of your house before they even finished the job.

End of tenancy clean

Dreadful experience. Booked an end-of-tenancy cleaning and they confirmed promptly. Three days later, I received a call asking to reschedule from 9 AM to 2 PM due to sickness, which I understood. However, on the day of the clean, just before 2 PM, I was informed that they were delayed and would arrive at 3:30 PM. After several calls with no response, no one showed up. I had tenants moving in the next and. Their service may be fine when things go smoothly, but when you depend on them, you can't count on them.
