Carl and his team fitted new hardwood frames, windows and sashes in the back of our house. They did a brilliant job, not only on the fitting, but the make-good afterwards was completed with total attention to detail and the windows and surrounds look superb. Communication and their care in doing the work was excellent. They looked after the house and were a pleasure to work with.

Carl and his team came in to fix work left in a terrible state by a previous builder, and the difference was night and day. Professional, calm, reliable, and always on time, they worked pragmatically with what was in place and stayed within budget. They handled everything — bathrooms, kitchen, tiling, plumbing, carpentry — all to a high standard. Carl was upfront about what he could and couldn’t do, which we really appreciated. Great team, respectful to have in our home, and nothing was too much trouble. Undersold and overdelivered — already planning to use him again and would highly recommend

I was very impressed with Carl and the whole team of BN1 Carpentry. The were very flexible with our busy Theatre schedule, and communication was great. They were also clean, tidy and a pleasure to have onsite.

Excellent work from Carl and his team. Repairs and repainting to our front door which is 200 years old and now looks as good as new.

Carl and his team did a great job of fitting some refurbished 1930s doors to our ‘modern’ doorframes. Some of the doors were a bit wonky, all of them were odd sizes but despite this the end result is superb. Carl and his team were good value, prompt, courteous and tidy, and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Carl did a fantastic job reinforcing a damaged joist. It was a complicated job due to limited access, but Carl was very efficient, completed the work to a high standard, communicative throughout and left no mess. Would recommend to anyone.
