    Clearing overgrown garden

    Sam is brilliant. He listened to my requirements, suggested ways to carry these out and worked like a Trojan until he finished the work. He was punctual, polite and productive. I highly recommend him and will definitely employ him again.

    Clearing heavily overgrown front and back gardens.

    Sam was quick to respond to my enquiry and very clear on what work was needed and the cost. He worked for two days clearing/weeding/pruning my front beds and the back garden. These areas had been completely neglected for a couple of years due to illness. Sam has restored them to a clear usable space, I’m really happy with the results. He is very thorough and has done a great job! Highly recommend.f

    Vine removed, weeds removed, other plants cut back, general garden tidying

    Sam was really quick to respond to my request, he understood initially what I was after. A couple of days later, he came over and I showed him what the issues in my garden were, and we discussed what options I had. A couple of weeks later (due to both our schedules), he came over and did the work. Initially it was supposed to be 1.5 days, but it ended up being 1 day due to the weather, and with that he also bought James with him. They both did a fantasy job! I have regained access to a shed, and a nice patch of space, which I’m looking forward to seeing what I can grow there/do with it.

    Excellent work-ethic and attention to detail. Sam goes above and beyond, clearing weeds beneath the hedges, removing all the waste, and leaving the garden looking superb. Many thanks!

    Trees and hedges trimmed

    I am so glad I chose Sam from Checkatrade listing to do our annual trees and shrubs trimming. He has done an excellent job on our garden today, he is a very pleasant man and it was very obvious he takes a pride in his work and all at a competitive price. I can see why he gets 10 out of 10 for everything on his reviews. Highly recommended.

    Garden Maintenance

    We’re so pleased we found Sam. He’s maintained my Mum’s garden for a couple of months now and it looks really great. Sam always gets on with job and does whatever needs doing i.e. mowing the large lawn, trimming all the edges, weeding the flower beds and cutting back the shrubs. He pays attention to detail and leaves everything nice and tidy. Sam works extremely hard and is a very reliable and amenable gardener. 100% recommended.

Asian Themed Garden
Scottish River Pebbles plus Cotswold and Purbeck Stone were used to reduce maintenance of a traditional front garden of lawn and flower borders.
Re-shaped lawn, additional planting and Ornamental Forest Bark produce a bright and colourful fresh look to a previously overgrown border.
Overgrown pond with loosely placed, uneven stone edging with liner clearly visible.
Purbeck stonework now levelled and cemented into place together with a new functional waterfall. A membrane with washed river pebbles and new planting make this pond neat and much easier to maintain +108

After studying at Kingston Maurward College in 2004 my father gained valuable hands on experience working for a reputable garden maintenance and landscaping company. In 2006 he founded Be Wise Garden Services, which quickly became well established and developed a large very satisfied client base. I joined my father in 2008 and together we have taken our company from strength to strength providing a first class gardening service for the local community. Now after fifteen years of working together my father has decide to retire and I will be taking the reins.


Be Wise Garden Services specialise in the small to medium garden makeover, soft landscaping, turfing and the re-design of borders with the specific aim of adding style and reducing maintenance. One off garden tidy/clearances are also undertaken. We have always taken pride in providing an efficient, very neat and tidy service for our customers and this will continue now I’m at the helm.
