  Fitting in-built wardrobe and shelving

  We wanted to increase our space and storage by converting an existing free-standing drawer unit into in-built storage with added cupboards on top. Joe did this brilliantly, making the whole thing look seamless and finding solutions for our own oversights (such as not factoring in the skirting board when measuring the gap). The whole thing now looks like one unit and is exactly what we wanted. Overall, Joe was professional, very reasonably priced, friendly, and most importantly, very good at his job. We couldn't be happier with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

  False ceiling and loft hatch fitting

  From the start, Joe arrived late or not at all, despite agreeing a firm end date. Sub contractors were not booked in time leading to e.g. 8 days' wait for a plasterer, and electrician being unavailable to complete his work. At agreed end date, the room was unusable, damage had not been rectified and the work was unfinished. Joe did not respond to our calls demanding if or when it would be. We had to employ another electrician to deal with live wires left exposed. Because of this, I refused to pay the full 10% due on completion.

  Utility fitment

  Joe fitted utility for us based on furniture ordered from Wren. He did good job so was the quality of his workmanship. Communication from start to finish was a breeze.

  New floor in hallway

  We have used Benjamin Carpentry several times and would highly recommend. Joe delivers on all fronts, clear invoicing on quotes and estimates, courteous and extremely tidy. His work is of a very high standard and Joe is brilliant at problem solving and suggesting innovative ideas. He just cracks on and gets the job done and the end result has always been excellent.   Fitted Oak Wardrobe

  Very pleased with the work from joe again, we moved into a new property with no storage, we wanted Oak in the bedroom and Joe gave us a few options which would work with our layout and we are very pleased with the outcome. Would definitely use Joe again for our future projects.

  Communication at times could be better but ann excellent job completed. Jo works carefully and achieves an excellent finish and fit. Very polite and tidy within the home taking great care. Quoted a price and stuck to it even though the job became quite involved. We woul happily use him again
