  Great communication and quality workmanship.

  I highly recommend Barry and his team. They re-pointed our house which can be a messy job, but they protected all relevant areas around the house and tidied up as they went along. It was done to a high standard, on time and to budget. They did an excellent job. Clear communication at all times and the whole team are pleasant to have around.

  Faultless from start to finish......

  Can't recommended Barry and his team enough, carried out a major renovation from start to finish of a old style property that had many challenges, and what an absolute amazing final finished house they have completed. Its not just the amazing team of guys he has working for him, but also the years of experience and people he knows in the building industry he can call on to help provide additional services. clear and communication right from the offset, reviewing costs and keeping the budget as close as possible and open and honest about challenging decisions, but gone above and beyond.

  I am delighted with the work Barry and his team have done for me. Barry is very careful, kind & knowledgeable, thinking through all the options for achieving what is needed. He tries to keep costs as low as possible while still ensuring that a good quality job is done. He keeps a close eye on what his team are doing and everything runs very smoothly. Alex, his son in law, does a lot of the hard graft and is very pleasant and uncomplaining. Barry & Alex kindly did some extra bits all for nothing e.g. fixing my neighbour's drain pipe and my guttering, wiring a light, giving me some paint.

  Repair of car port.

  My car port was damaged in a storm. The work was to fit new roof sheets and a protective layer over the walkway. The quality of the work was excellent. I would certainly recommend this company.

  Extensive period house renovation and extension.

  Barry Shaw undertook a major building project on our grade 2 listed farmhouse, demolishing a conservatory and building a new extension. The project was complex and the heritage restrictions needed to be adhered to. The communication with Barry was first class from the initial project meetings through to completion. Barry and his team are meticulous in their attention to detail, and the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. The disruption over 10 months is to be expected, but Barry and his team always worked hard to tidy the site and minimise our inconvenience. Highly recommended.
