  Find the cause of and repair water ingress

  Having detected damp in the ceiling of an upstairs room, I contacted Barretts Roofing and Alfie was able to come to investigate the same day. He provided clear photographic and video evidence of the cause with a comprehensive quotation for the necessary work. I engaged him to undertake the project and he has managed all aspects of it including sub-contracted services. His regular communication kept me advised of activities and unforeseen delays, he and his team showed uncommon respect for the property and left the work area clean and tidy at the end of each day.

  Left the job half completed

  The roofers (Alfie and his Dad) mortared over brick dust at the top of the chimney stack and when questioned explained they didn't think it was a problem unless i did, which i did. Once their quote to re-point the whole stack was rejected i never heard from them again. They left the site with the flaunching removed but only two out of four pots installed.

  Very efficient and high quality service in record time- we are very pleased with the results. Alfie is clearly very knowledgeable and took time to explain the options open to us, taking photos before and after to show us the work. His team were polite and respectful whilst at our property and cleared up afterwards well. Would recommend and in fact already have, to a work colleague.

  Roof work.

  Alfie has been amazing - from start to finish. He came on a last minute call as it was an emergency. His team started the following day and completed the work within 2 days. They left the place tidy and clean. I would highly recommend them and would definitely work with him again.

  Alfie and his crews did an excellent job, fast and brilliant quality, good price, good communication throughout and super speedy. They took care to clean up after themselves and our furniture, carpets, floors etc. The house looks good as new, would trust them implicitly and highly recommend! thanks guys!
