Chris and the team at Balfour came in to fit a new drain down the side of our house and re-lay a couple of slabs in our garden. Their quote was fair and well explained, they arrived when promised and conducted the works exactly as discussed. There was an issue on the day, out of their control, and they happily came another day to finish up. The drain has made an amazing difference to our house and has been well tested with the recent inclement weather. They will certainly be our first call for any future works.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used Balfour. Their work 3 years ago was exemplary. With the piece of work just completed they have continued to live up to that standard. Carried out clearing and hard landscaping of front garden and block paving drive, installation of new soak away and other drainage, rebuild boundary wall, creation of lawn, border and gate. Materials and methods they use are excellent, they pay attention to detail, the team is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Very consultative and flexible, responding positively to any changes required.

We’re delighted with the work Chris and his team have done for us. The process of designing the garden was really enjoyable and we felt like our ideas had been thoroughly explored. When it came to the build Paul and Dylan were lovely to have around and made a special effort to entertain our little ones!

Great work carried out by the team, had arris rail fences replaced, new decking area created and an old gravel area covered with astroturf. Dan brought his experience together to help us during the quoting process get the right solution for the garden. Team kept in communication throughout and couldn’t be happier with the end result

We needed a new small fence created and fitted, supply and fit a drain pipe and secure a wooden sleeper in position. Chris came round and offered the most practical solution, gave us a quote for half a day’s work. Work was done to a high standard and Dylan was a star, building bespoke fence panel rather than using an ‘off the shelf’ one. He installed some drainpipes and also moved and secured a railway sleeper that had moved since it was fitted. Overall, it was a great service that Balfour provided and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others looking for garden work, large or small.

Really pleased with the work carried out – the team removed the old decking, levelled the garden, and installed artificial grass and new fencing. Everything was completed to a high standard, with great attention to detail. The garden looks fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!
