  John Baker: a trustworthy and professional builder!

  We strongly recommend John Baker at Baker Developments - an absolute delight, built our one-storey side extension from nothing in a little over 3 months, completing all the groundwork, sewage, brickwork, insulation, plastering, fittings. All work was done to the highest standard, meeting current standards and industry codes. He organised the necessary experts, contractors and professionals to have our work completed on time with minimal disruption - no small feat when we had a newborn arriving in the middle of the work schedule! We will be requesting John’s services for many years to come.

  John Baker carried out the conversion of our integral garage into another living room. The team was very efficient, good humoured and did an excellent job. From the outside the property looks as if the new room has always been there as care has been taken to match the bricks and window to the existing frontage. Internally the room has been finished — plastering and flooring — to an excellent standard and they made sure that they kept disruption to a minimum. They were a pleasure to have on site and I would recommend them to anyone thinking of getting work done.

  A large extension to a 19th century property (250sqm+), internal renovations, and a triple garage.

  I have worked with a number of good and bad builders over the years and John and his team are comfortably the best. The quote was accurate and fair, work was completed within our desired timelines, and the standard of work and attention to detail was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Baker Developments again!

  So pleased with the service delivered by John and team. Time keeping, technical advice, quality of work, tidiness, and cost of job were all excellent but above all the friendliness made the experience quite enjoyable. We recommend him to anyone.

  Pitched roof extension

  Baker Developments came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. John and his team were excellent in every respect from giving us a quote to completing the work. Their workmanship was to the highest standard and carried out with obvious pride and attention to detail. They were extremely tidy and kept any disruption to a minimum. As well as being very skilled and professional, they were all an absolute pleasure to have in our home. Look no further!

  Extension

  John and his team built our extension to a very high standard which we are delighted with. I changed my mind on a couple of occasions and nothing was a problem. John was always contactable if we had any questions about anything and always so polite as was all the team. John and his guys always tidied up at the end of the day which was great. I always made tea and coffee for them as it's nice to be nice and would put a plate of biscuits out too which was very much appreciated. We highly recommend John and his team and will definitely have them back if we need anything else done.
