2.75 Repointing nightmare

After an initially poor job when completing some repointing at my property, I asked Bill to come back and rebuild my garden wall on the understanding the repointing was finished. Bill shouted at me outside my property and called me a liar when discussing what I’d asked to be done vs what had been done. Not only has the repointing left me in a position where I need another builder, the capping stones for my wall were smashed due to clumsiness and lack of care, and I am still waiting for an apology. I would recommend Bill for brickwork. He responded quickly to all my enquiries and his price was very fair. He worked very hard to get everything completed, and even did a couple of extra bits and pieces on top. Bill gave me a very good quote for the work, was very communicative both before and during carrying out the work. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently tidying up as they went. Bill replied quickly to my enquiry and arranged a date to do the work. He did an excellent job and was happy to sort out some minor pointing jobs elsewhere in the garden. He and his assistant were a very pleasant and helpful team who worked hard to get the job completed before the rain arrived. Bill came to move our living room doorway across on the same wall. He made a stud wall and plastered where the existing doorway was and refit the frame and door on the new one. The whole process was easy from discussing about the job before hand right through to completion. He gave us a fair price and finished it on time. We were very happy with the work once it was finished. I would recommend Bill and his team to anyone looking for building work to be done in the local area.
