  I asked Aston to lay a new 40sqm parquet floor across a living room and dining room. He suggested using the slightly longer 280mm blocks, which look amazing in this space. I was also looking for a more contemporary look, and opted for one of the Morrells Scandi stains, which looks great when applied. Aston was very friendly and was happy to answer a lot of questions and work through different options for the border and matt well layouts. I really appreciated someone who was happy to discuss things during the job. It was a very challenging week with the weather, but Aston went above and beyond!

  Excellent experience. Ashton really wanted to ensure that I was happy with the outcome (particularly the colour of the stain) and so patiently tried a number of samples until I found the right one. The end result is beautiful and the pine floor is stunning as well. Highly recommend.

  It was surprisingly difficult to get quotes for sanding and sealing our pine bedroom floor, so we count ourselves lucky that Aston came out to quote. What a lovely, friendly, reliable, genuine, experienced guy who takes such pride in his work. The quality of his work was outstanding, great attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble. There was literally no mess and Aston and his lovely young team worked their magic despite the hot conditions. We’d definitely recommend Aston without hesitation and will use him again. It was also great to see him passing on his skills onto his lovely son.

  Aston’s skill and expertise are second to none. He and his team did an absolutely fantastic job of sanding and sealing my floorboards, really bringing out the natural beauty of the wood and transforming the room in the process. I fully recommend him!
