Find source of leaking roof and repair

A-Star came out in Dec 2023 to fix a leaking roof. Their work didn't fix, or even reduce, the leak. So I spent 2.5 months trying to get them to come out again. I was repeatedly told that they weren't working due to "personal issues". Okay I thought, that can happen, however there are multiple reviews on here for work done during that period. My most recent attempt to get in touch has been ignored so now I've moved on to someone else. Their reviews when I booked them were good, but have recently gone downhill, not sure what's going on with them but I can't recommend them right now.

I called and spoke with jonathon regarding a roof repair. He came round the same day to take a look gave me a quote and repaired it in the same day. He was very polite, tidy and got the job done for me in perfect time!

Scaffolding for investigatory work and diagnosis

Called this company for a quote to erect scaffolding for diagnostic purposes and was made to feel like a complete idiot. When I ask if he could quote for scaffolding I was told "I am a roofer". I further explained that the scaffolding was to look and diagnose the issue with a view to rectifying it. I was told "well when I've got a pen and paper, because as you can hear...". I told him I would try someone else because I didn't like his attitude. He then very condescendingly said "well sorry my dear" as I put down the phone. Seems some people have more work opportunities than manners these day.
