  Underfloor heating thermostats no power.

  Steve arrived early and traced the fault to a small glass fuse in the control centre. He also noticed a loose connection to the pump which he fixed. Very amiable and efficient. I would definitely contact him if any electrical problems occur in future.

  Repairing an immersion that wasn’t heating water

  My elderly mother had no hot water - Steve from A S H came to her rescue, diagnosed the fault, sourced the spare part and fitted it. He put her at ease as she is very nervous and made the experience a positive one for her. Would definitely recommend.

  Complete re-wire of a room ready for a new kitchen.

  Steve carried out a complete re-wire of our old kitchen and dining room ready for the installation of a new kitchen and appliances. This was a lot of work and included removing the old fuse box and replacing it with a new consumer unit, chasing cables into the walls, new lights in the ceiling and adding additional sockets and isolation switches. Once the kitchen was installed, Steve returned to connect everything up, including all the new appliances. Steve worked hard and ensured that we were kept up to speed and happy with what he was doing. He cleaned as he went so never any terrible mess.

  Fit new power sockets and aerial cable in lounge

  Really pleased with the work Steve carried out for us. Took care cutting and lifting floorboards to run cables for the new sockets in our lounge. Kept us informed throughout the job. Very tidy and clear about what was included and what was not. The cost was what he quoted. Turned up on time and good communication.

  Full kitchen rewire, 1st and 2nd fix

  We can't recommend Steve enough for the work he did on our kitchen. We needed a full rewire which required quite a bit of problem solving to get the cable back to an awkwardly positioned fuseboard. Everything during the 1st fix was done neatly and to a really high standard, this was notable by the praise that the plasterer had for his work. Steve was communicative and responsive throughout the process - from our initial planning to installing the last switch. He also gave us some really solid recommendations on lights. We'll definitely use his services for the next project!
