The dripping tap (that they charged me extra to fix), still dripping so ended up I paid another plumber to come and replace the tap. The leak from bath was still there so they came back and re-selaed. In doing this they made a mess of the ceiling below and had hacked at it to make a hole under the bathroom waste pipes, much larger than necessary. He offered to fix the hole for extra money. I declined and used my own plasterer. It was a quick response to an issue which I wanted treatign quickly, but have needed to pay way over the odds by gettign other trades in. Also it was really expensive

I was getting declines from other tradesmen on Checkatrade perhaps because of the nature of work and its value. And so it was a pleasant surprise when AS Builders reached out. Team came across as knowledgeable, professional, resourceful and more importantly for me, ethical ! They executed the advertised job to a high standard and then went the extra mile by accommodating extra work requests - basically taking away the stress of having to move to the property that was not completely done up and liveable. Delighted with their professionalism and would highly recommend!
