The company insisted on servicing my gates at a time that suited them, not me. (I was abroad). They then proceeded to break gates that had been working perfectly well and I had to call in another company to repair them. I shall not use ASAS again.

“Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. ASAS endeavour to provide the best and our high feedback satisfaction from over 150 Checkatrade customers reflects this. On this occasion, we have to disagree with the comments left as the customer agreed that we could attend the property while he was away to carry out the inspection. There is an email trail, dating back to March 2023, indicating that the customer wished for us to service his gates which supports this. We have also carried out work for this customer in the past with no issues. Our engineers complete a worksheet with images during every visit, so we are confident that we did not break the customers gates. However, had the customer mentioned to us that he was experiencing problems since the service was carried out we would have organised a return visit to investigate. Regrettably, the customer made no mention of this and has provided no further details of the alleged damage, giving us no opportunity to respond. We are therefore disappointed to receive this negative feedback, but grateful for the positive feedback that we continue to receive from our other satisfied customers.”
