Nothing done well. Appalling experience.. Told it would be finished in 3 weeks. He did 4 days work knocked ceiling down removed kitchen and left us. Two over seventies with health issues. No kitchen facilities at all no cooking facilities just kettle and sandwich maker in other room. Floor boards pulled up outside taps and sink cut off hole in wall. Left us in state for 5 weeks claimed couldnt get plasterer. He had £3160 to destroy our kitchen threaten and leave. We paid £1300 to a plasterer and £10306. to reputable builder to rectify his work & complete project. .

I found ARD Carpentry on Checkatrade after moving to Thanet in 2020. Initially, he (Alan) did some carpentry work for me and his work was excellent. He was reliable, fairly priced and trustworthy...hard to find these days. I had Alan back for a larger job at the back of my house which included brickwork, plastering, electrics and bi-fold door installation. Alan and his teamwork were again excellent. The work completed looks great... I would highly recommend ARD Carpentry...

One word Brilliant. Knowledgeable, skilled and friendly, the job took longer than anyone anticipated due to covid. But all in all very pleased with the finished kitchen. The build was very complicated with an outside wall having to be opened up with corresponding steels and supports. Concrete patio was laid including brick work to the same level as kitchen floor once tiling complete. Alan fitted the kitchen units and worktops to a very high standard and finish. There isnt one thing I can find to moan about. It was a very testing time but Alan kept us informed and updated organised it all. FAB

Alan fitted a dishwasher for me into a space that wasn't the right size, the original kitchen fitted by someone else was too high. Alan quickly found a solution and made it fit like a glove, sourcing perfectly matched materials for my kick board and side panels which were discontinued and fitting a stainless steel door and handle, correcting the door spring tolerance accordingly. I couldn't be happier with the result. Alan is punctual, polite and highly skilled, I thoroughly recommend him.

Alan took on our project of a part timber framed/part brick built 1790 house which was literally falling apart. This was a back to brick/wood job where many unexpected and unwanted surprises arose. His work covered all structural repairs, carpentry, room reconfiguration, plaster boarding and plastering and kitchen fitting. Despite uncovering so many issues, nothing phased him and for every problem he had a perfect solution. Even though the house was a major building site, Alan keep the site clean and tidy. To conclude, I can throughly recommend Alan and his team, his work was exemplary.
