Job location: OX2We had a tree felled by Arbocare, the 2 lads that came to carry out the job were very friendly and polite. The work was carried out methodically with little disruption. After they had finished they cleared up all wood shavings and twigs, you would never really have realised they had been apart from the missing tree!! The price was very competitive and we were always kept informed before work carried out. Highly recommend.- MMatthew B
10 Tidying up a large coniferous hedge

I’ve a large hedge at the end of my garden that extends into my neighbours gardens on either side. I normally keep it in check myself. However, I haven’t time anymore and needed to find a company that could do it for me. This first time was a test to see how good they were. I will certainly be getting Arbocare back each year to keep this thing trimmed. The guys were superb. Not only did they do an excellent job but they made great suggestions on how to shape the hedge better. I have two large trees whose branches were encroaching on the house, including overhanging the roof. I outlined what was needed and a very reasonable price agreed. On the appointed day, the men from Arbocare arrived on time. The work was completed within a few hours and I was very pleased with the result. They knew exactly what needed doing and the results exceeded my expectations. They removed all material and left my garden neat and tidy. Arbocare came to assess our large hedge, which needed taming, and gave a thorough professional review, advising necessary action supported by a detailed quotation. They then turned up on time to do the work (extensive surgery) and did a fantastic job. Arbocare Tree Surgery Ltd is a local, reputable company with over 30 years experience of Arboriculture and tree surgery work. We cover all Oxfordshire locations and neighbouring counties including Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. We conduct all work in line with health and safety regulations and it is carried out to BS3998: 2010 standard where possible. Our Royal Forestry Society certified arborists enable us to provide customers with the correct arboriculture advice and the appropriate works according to the tree species, time of year and overall condition of the tree. This includes the identification of various decay fungi & diseases that are not always easily observed but can be detrimental to tree safety.
All staff are NPTC certificated for the equipment & operations that they carry out and staff are continually trained via various CPD'S. NPTC is the recognised training body within our industry which covers the safe use of chainsaws and related operations. Tree work is a very skilled & dangerous industry with a vast amount of Health & Safety regulations such as Risk Assessments Loler, Puwer, Coshh, Havs and Working at Heights regulations to name a few. Not only are these a legal requirement but they are required for valid insurance if a claim was made.
To carry out work safely,effectively and following Health & guidelines Safety we have invested heavily in specialised machinery, including Hinowa 18m cheery picker, Oil & Steel 15m cherry picker, Tara stump grinder, Forst tracked chipper, timberwolf chipper, Sheila skidsteer. Equipment to carry out the work professionally.
We would strongly advise that you check NPTC certifications and Health & Safety procedures when you are engaging with or discussing potential works with any tree surgery company.
We strive to provide the best possible customer service by discussing each customer's needs and requirements individually, striving to complete all work tasks to a high standard. We carry out both domestic and commercial work with current customers including the National Trust.
