  Excellent service. Came out the same day, early evening, and repaired my boiler on the spot. Very friendly and knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and the price was fair. I felt confident I could trust him and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

  Repairs to central heating system

  We had come back from a six week trip to find neither the heating nor hot water worked. We had emergency cover with an insurance company. The next 10 days were a nightmare - poor quality engineering, terrible communications. In the end I took over and found Gold Star via Checkatrade. What a difference! Andre was very thorough and professional, discovered multiple problems and gave a fair quote. He then did an excellent job to fix everything. Communication was also very good. In the end he was able to charge me less than his quote as one part of the work proved easier.
