Apex responded promptly. assessed and priced the job. The tree had a preservation order and they dealt with the required submissions to the council and the complications of access, it was adjacent to playing fields used by three schools. On the day the team and necessary equipment arrived as expected and worked hard to accomplish the task in the alloted time. It was a huge tree. The staff were skilled, competent and approachable. I would definitely use them again.

Two guys did a very thorough job and demonstrated good knowledge of trees. They were careful not to damage any surrounding plants and cleared everything up afterwards. Very polite and helpful. My only complaint relates to the admin by the office. I kept receiving requests for money after I had paid the bill!

A representative visited our house, took pictures and told me that it would be HALF A DAYS work to cut back my neighbours overhanging branches. In fact it took 30 MINUTES. The workers then proceeded to play with their mobile phones. I am a pensioner and the cost of £480 for 30 minutes is extortionate. I would NOT recommend this company.

Great service, speedy turnaround, I have used Apex before and will use again

Whilst working to remove a tree on the other side of our private car park, this companies workers did not notice (!) that the tree they were cutting down was rotten (that's what they said on site). The result was the tree falling the wrong way, destroying sections of our fence and scratching up one of the cars. This happened on the 15th of Feb 2024. We have been chasing them ever since to do "the right thing". On three separate occasions, the company director, Martin Saxon, promised to turn up for an on-site meeting to get this resolved but failed to show up. We are now having to go legal.
