I thought that, since I was looking for a trader on Checkatrade, I should have expected quality. It was not like that at all. And since then, when the roof that they "fixed" leaked in the same place again a year later, I've noticed that they aren't even vetted by Checkatrade! Very unpleasant experience to work with. They were supposed to fix a leak. Rebuilt the entire roof (as they insisted on it), and it's still leaking in the same spot! Tried to find them a year later, so they can honour their guarantee, but they are nowhere to be found. So, always check that traders are vetted.

I hired John for a roof leak. Initially quoted £900, but mid-job I was told it was a "bigger job" and the price jumped to £3,500. I paid this, yet the roof is still leaking in the exact same spot, causing damage to my ceiling. I have spent over a year chasing him to honor the warranty. The service is appalling: he ignores messages for weeks, cancels appointments on the morning they are due, and makes constant excuses. I have now taken legal action against him and his business. He took the money and refused to resolve the issue. Do not use this trader.

John sounded like a knowledgable roofer and good experience I had a lot of questions and he was able to advise well.

After having several leaks in my roof I contacted apex roofing, John and his team came out promptly and carried out the work that was needed, they done this in an efficient time and explained everything as the job was carried out, a very professional company and it was a pleasure to deal with this team I highly recommend.

Provided an initial quote for repointing the chimney and roof repair but kept on increasing the quote and changing the amount of work required when visited the property.

Very professional and extremely prompt. Contacted for repairs 26/02/25. Work was done the next day 27/02/25. No issues and very clear communication. 100% will be using for any future issues
