Our experience with Finlay was extremely disappointing. Although he appeared professional during the quotation stage, his workmanship, project management, and reliability were far below acceptable standards. A project quoted at 8–10 weeks was still unfinished after 7 months. An independent roofer confirmed serious faults with the roof and Velux installation, forcing us to pay thousands for urgent corrective work. Finlay promised reimbursement but has paid nothing and has not provided the required Building Control documents yet . We cannot recommend his services.

The service from this company was exemplary! I was contacted initially by Finlay who asked for a photo of the job which I sent. Within minutes after sending the photos I was contacted and the work was scheduled for the following day. The work was carried out on time and to a very high standard. It was a small brickwork job which was needed to be carried out with all haste and Apex did this as promised at a very reasonable price considering the speed needed to fix it! I was extremely fortunate to find Apex and I would recommend the company without any hesitation whatsoever.
