Andy Anderson Locksmith Ltd are independent locksmiths, the person you talk to will carry out the work.

I started cutting keys at the age of 14, I then helped my father start the business 30 years ago, my specialty was picking 3-lever back door locks with a coat hanger, but I am please to say locks have evolved since then.

Although I have always been involved in the business my father has now fully retired and I love solving the problems that locks present every day.

I’m on call 24 hours and don’t charge a call out fee. I will always give a price (or a guide price) over the phone, if it’s not clear what the problem is then I am happy to take a look and give an estimate with no fee.

I work on all types of doors and windows, Wooden, UPVC & Aluminium. I upgrade locks to British standard Insurance approved on residential and commercial properties, from large blocks of flats to beach huts. Due to their popularity and only having a 10 year life expectancy, I seem to specialise in UPVC door locks, however I do enjoy using a good old fashion chisel occasionally. 24 Hour Emergency Lock Outs We are able to let you in 24 hours a day into your property if you have lost your keys, broken you keys, left it in the office, whatever reason we can help get you back in to your home with no or very little damage. Its always cheaper to call us in the first instance that to repair the damage caused by kicking your own door in.

Lock Fitting We can advise and install locks for every application. Whether replacing existing or adding additional locks on your home or business then we can help. All locks can be fitted to the latest Regulations and can be compatible with insurance requirements BS 3621.

UPVC Door Locks and Mechanisms We specialise in UPVC door locks and mechanisms and can easily identify the problem and type of lock. Sometimes the problem is just that the door or lock needs adjusting. We carry a large stock of replacement locks for immediate installation. However if a replacement locking mechanism is required we have access to over 450 locks for next day delivery.

Lock Repairs We can mend or fix most quality locks on the market today if this provides a more cost effective solution.

Key Cutting We cut and supply duplicate keys for locks supplied and fitted.

Burglary Repairs We remove the damaged wood, replace with good solid timber and make good all damage and structural issues and add new locks if needed.

Keying Alike Want your locks to work off one key? Then we can key all your locks alike meaning only one key for infinate number of locks. Your locks must all be the same make and key style for this option.

Moving house or new tenants Would you change the locks on a new property when you move house? Most of us would not, according to a new survey. But experts suggest a home insurance claim is at risk of being turned down if a spare set of keys was used by a previous owner or tradesman to commit burglary. View this article.
