Artis is one of the best local tradesmen I have found since moving to Sussex 20 years ago. He spent a week creating from scratch a replacement for the gable end of our wooden Victorian verandah which had rotted away. He rebuilt the whole structure from the jigsaw puzzle of wood pieces he cut himself, and left our garden looking tidy every night. It looks brilliant now that we have painted it. Artis worked hard, was super friendly, happily answered our many questions, offered solutions and inspired confidence that he knows his craft. Have already booked another job.

Artis was great highly skilled and professional. We had a staircase to the loft put in and Artis and his apprentice did an amazing job. Would highly recommend!

Artis fitted 6 internal doors and 3 cupboard doors. He came up with a solution for 3 awkward sized cupboard doors and carried out the work to a very high standard. Really cared about the work and was great to work with. Very knowledgeable and would definitely recommend.

2nd time I have used Artis in recent years. Both times it was to fit internal doors. Artis did an exceptional job both times. Totally trustworthy. He is the only carpenter I will use.

Great standard of carpentry - very highly recommended. Artis worked happily to solve a few difficulties and completed the work to a very high standard. We will certainly be using his expertise again
