    Bedroom decorating

    Arran worked hard and was very organised at all times. We had all three bedrooms decorated. Which we are so pleased with. Our children love their new bedrooms!! Wallpaper was all stripped, making good to the walls, painting all the rooms, all woodwork painted and change of colour to the doors. Highly recommend and will be booking in again! . Thank you!!

    Full room reset - Painting and decorating

    Arran came to take apart old furniture in a bedroom and fix and paint walls. He did an excellent job, was always reliable had great communication and the work was completed to a very high standard. He was very reasonable and is someone i cannot recommend enough for anything you need doing.

    Part of loft conversion

    Arran laid some flooring, fitted our wardrobes and painted the new room for us. He turned up on time and did the work he needed to do to a great standard and was very tidy. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

    Painted my hallway and kitchen and also laid my new decking at the back of my garden

    We had Arran in for to paint our kitchen and hallway both up and down stairs. He also done our decking for us at the back of our garden. Really reliable and polite. Always on time and never felt like we couldn't leave him in our house alone. Very tidy with excellent attention to detail, offering his advise when we was stuck for ideas Would highly recommended and won't be going to anyone else when I need something doing in my home 10/10

    Bathroom refurbishment

    Cloakroom bathroom refurbishment where the walls were In a terrible state. Arran decorated the room to a very high standard making the walls look like they had been re plastered. He also fitted laminated flooring, tile splash back, new skirting and also boxed in pipes. This is the 4th time that we’ve had Arran back to do work for us and he has done amazing work for us each time. Highly recommend for quality of work, professionalism and friendliness.

    Painting of hallway and landing

    Arran was brilliant ! He worked quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail. We had the hallway and landing painted and it was quite a difficult area however he completed it without any issues. He was tidy and very professional. We have already got him planned in for next year to complete more of our decorating needs.

Hi, I’m Arran Miller. I am a painter/decorator with over 12 years of experience. I specialise in painting, decorating and home improvements. I have been in the building trade for over 12 years, so have picked up various skills.


I carry out skilled painting and decorating work to a high standard. This includes site preparation, surface preparation and applying paint and other finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces.


Additional duties include:

* Working with clients to ensure I complete the work according to their requirements

* Measuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete the project

* Preparing the surrounding area, including covering fixtures and furniture to prevent messes

* Preparing painting surfaces, including removing old paint, filling holes and cracks

* Mixing and matching paints and colours to meet the texture and look required for the project

* Applying paint, varnishing and other finishes

* Working with other construction professionals such as, carpenters, electricians and plumbers when necessary


Work I do:

*All types of painting interior and exterior

*major or minor repairs

*Painting kitchen units and other furniture

*Basic carpentry skills

*Plaster-boarding,

*Paneling
