  We booked Alfie, really late last night and he came by today just as promised. He kept us in the loop the whole time, and even though he ran into a tricky issue with the kitchen sink, he came up with a great workaround super quickly. He was really fast, super friendly, and the best part is that he didn’t charge us extra, even though he could have (because of the complication he encountered). I’ll definitely be using Alfie again for any future work!

  Shower leak

  Interest in the job was shown pretty much straightaway despite it being late on a Sunday evening. Through messages a visit was agreed the next day. It ended up being delayed slightly due to another job but it wasn’t a problem. The issue was assessed (leaking shower) but no leak was visible when shower turned on. The sealant on the edges of shower base was replaced. So far no more leaks have happened.

  Bathroom leak

  Showed quick interest in the job despite being late Sunday evening. We agreed for him to come out next day. I was informed of labour cost if work was required. The issue area was checked but no immediate signs of dampness/leak. He removed the sealant around the base of the shower and applied a new filling in its place.

  Tap & Pipe replacement

  Alfie was quick, professional and helpful in fixing a leaking pipe below our sink. It was identified that we needed to replace the whole tap, but he was able to get us a brand new one for a pretty reasonable price.

  Alfie was polite professional and did a great job . He replied to messages quickly and kept me in the loop on times of visits . I definitely highly recommend him and will always use his services for plumbing jobs .

  Renewing a toilet

  Replacing an old toilet with a new one. The job proved more difficult than anticipated due to the old installation pipework and difficult, tight spaces but Alfie went above and beyond getting it sorted. I would thoroughly recommend AME Plumbing for any plumbing jobs and will definitely use again when the time comes. Thanks.
