  A complicated bathroom and kitchen renovation

  A complete gutting of kitchen and bathroom were completed. A brand new kitchen was installed to a very clean and high standard, working around some strange findings when the previous installed kitchen was removed, plus some wall cladding. All issues that might have been detrimental to the install were addressed, making them disappear into the new installation. An excellent finish was achieved. They then finished the bathroom, once my plumber had completed the bath/wC/sink install, again to a high standard, finishing the floor, boxing in of pipes and wall decoration. Very pleased with the job.

  Extension with new kitchen and living area, and full exterior redecoration

  I was recommended to use AMCO by some friends and I couldn’t be more grateful. Tony and Sandra were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. It wasn’t a smooth ride with weather and issues not picked up on the survey, but Tony navigated it smoothly. Sandra was always on the ball, & it always felt like we were on the same side. The tradesmen they recommended were brilliant. Always here when needed and clearly living by the same ethos as the AMCO team, always pleasant, smiling and respectful of our property. I have asked them to do other jobs since & whole heartedly recommend them.

  Excellent builders

  New loft liner and loft insulated and boarded

  They are reliable and turn up when they say they will. Their work is always tidy and to a very high finish. Staged invoicing, with detailed spreadsheets providing excellent alignment to where the costs are, also provides information on progress. Whenever any hurdles come up, they always make contact to confirm how to proceed, ensuring the customer is involved and kept abreast of any situations in the work, being completed. Very professional and friendly, the customer is always first, in our opinion.

  Lintel replacement, bricking up doorway, fitting window, removal of cast iron soil stack

  From the moment we contacted Amco we knew we were in good hands. Tony and Sandra are both so lovely and I cannot recommend Amco highly enough! The team were absolutely fantastic - they were so friendly and professional. The work they did looked absolutely great and they went above and beyond to make sure the house was tidy at the end of each day. Tony was great throughout and went out of his way to organise a window for us (which we originally planned to organise ourselves) so that it could be fitted as soon as possible. We would definitely use Amco again and would not hesitate to recommend!

  Chimney removal and wall repair

  AMCO were fantastic, and thoroughly professional in dealing with our chimney removal and making good the resultant defects in the walls and ceilings. It is a well run business, who are clear about what issues there may be, and have a great attention to detail. They handled ordering the steel, and all of the works, ensuring it was building notice compliant, and organising the council surveyor to attend the site for sign off. Having used them for this, I would happily use or recommend them for any building work needed in future.
