10 Electric Car Charger Upgrade

We have a 10 year old EV charger which had the original, tethered, Type 1 cable, but EVs since 2014 come with a Type 2 connector and we've had to use an adapter which isn't very secure, so we booked Ambit to fit a new cable. I ordered the replacement Type 2 cable from Amazon and Chris agreed to do the job for £90 as long as there were no unforeseen problems. He gave us a date and said he would contact us an hour before coming some time in the afternoon. He called, then arrived on time. Chris has visited our local Camberley sports club recently to carry out repair work. Old poorly functioning Fire Exit Lights were replaced along with changing damaged light switches. In addition Chris fitted new car park lighting. All work was carried out to a high standard with little fuss. Highly recommended. I’ve used Chris to carry out electrical work on several occasions and he has always done a great job. He replaced my electric towel rail, extractor fan, and light / light switch in my bathroom and I was very happy with the work. Good quality workmanship, always on time and quoted a fair price. Where to start?...... I'm Chris from Ambit Electrical, based in Camberley, Surrey. I usually work within about a 20 mile radius of my base in Camberley but am not restricted to this.
I trained to be an electrician in 2006 and after working for other companies and getting lots of hands on experience I decided to go it alone and start my own business. I have run Ambit for 15 years now and enjoyed every minute of it, the challenges of finding hidden faults along with the aesthetics of lighting.
I undertake all jobs from a single socket to full rewires. I work in domestic and commercial buildings.
